KANYE WEST ATTENDS 'CRUEL SUMMER' PREMIERE WITH KIM KARDASHIAN
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were all loved up on the red carpet at the premiere of his short film "Cruel Summer" in Cannes.
Despite not stopping for the awaiting press crews, the couple dazzled on the carpet. Kardashian sported a cream dress, while West donned a cream-colored blazer and jeans. Not much was revealed about the film beforehand, but the short art installation was directed and produced by the rapper.
It's a love story set in the Middle East and was inspired by the upcoming G.O.O.D Music album of the same name by West and the acts signed to his G.O.O.D Music label imprint.
The film, to be projected over seven screens, is unlike anything West has attempted before and according to the cultural advisor, Mohammed Saeed Harib, it's more of an "experience" than a film.
"I would not call it a film because it's an experience." he said. "It's a beautiful visual ride that will portray the true sense of the Middle East."
