🌶️ Ingredients for Air Fryer Chilli Chicken

500 g boneless chicken (cut into cubes)

2 tbsp cornflour

2 tbsp maida (all-purpose flour)

1 egg (optional)

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp red chili sauce

1 tbsp green chili sauce

1 tsp vinegar

1 tsp black pepper powder

1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

Salt to taste

1 tbsp oil (for brushing)


For the Sauce:

1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp finely chopped garlic

1 tbsp finely chopped ginger

1 small onion (cubed)

1 small capsicum (cubed)

1-2 slit green chilies

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp chili sauce

1 tbsp tomato ketchup

1 tsp vinegar

1 tsp cornflour slurry (mix 1 tsp cornflour in 2 tbsp water)

Spring onions for garnish

🍳 Air Fryer Method

1. Marinate Chicken: Mix chicken cubes with cornflour, maida, egg, soy sauce, chili sauces, pepper, salt, and ginger-garlic paste. Let it rest for 30 minutes.


2. Preheat Air Fryer: Set at 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes.


3. Air Fry Chicken: Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in the basket. Lightly brush or spray oil.


4. Cook for 12–15 minutes at 180°C, shaking halfway for even cooking.


5. Prepare Sauce: Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, ginger, onion, and capsicum. Sauté on high flame for 1–2 minutes.


6. Add sauces, vinegar, and cornflour slurry. Toss well.


7. Mix Fried Chicken: Add air-fried chicken into the sauce. Stir-fry for a minute till coated well.
