I talk about what I like and don't like about the online personal training software, PT Distinction.

Take everything with a grain of salt. I've only used the product for a week, and while I'm pretty darn sure everything I say is a fact, there's always a chance I got it wrong (especially since whatever gripe I have might have been fixed by the time you watch this).

Too long, didn't watch:

Pros:

Probably the best, cleanest, fastest, most robust and scalable program / template / workout creation tools I've ever seen

Very snappy, initiative backed / adminstration panel

Ability to share (export / import) every element of content with other coaches (even if they aren't on your team.

Competitive pay for what you use pricing structure

clients can download programs for online use (but they have to use the crappy app to do it)


Cons:

The client side app doesn't hold a candle to the website (fortunately, clients can use the site as well)

no ability to embed YouTube content for exercises. They give a reason on their website for this (basically, it can hurt your SEO or lead people to your competition)...IMO, that's a weak justification

clients can't substitute exercises, modify workouts, etc.  Poor client autonomy in short.
