As a music education major at Berklee, you’ll learn to apply cutting edge pedagogical practices driving the future of education. The Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs is a catalyst for the inclusion of individuals with special needs in all aspects of performing and visual arts education. We have three main areas of our work: (1) Arts Education Programs for people with special needs, ages 3 to adult; (2) Graduate Programs and Undergraduate Courses in the area of arts education and special needs; and (3) Professional Development for educators, artists, and others in the field.
