Solo Backpacking the Wind River Range // A 50 Mile Knapsack Col - Wall Lake Loop

Описание к видео Solo Backpacking the Wind River Range // A 50 Mile Knapsack Col - Wall Lake Loop

This is a 4 Day backpacking trip in Wyomings Wind River Range. I started at Elkhart Park and took temp shelter at Seneca Lake to let a storm blow over before hiking the rest of the way to camp above Island Lake.

Day 2 I walked along the Jean Lakes to Shannon Pass and down to Peak Lake. Without my pack I explored the high point above Cube Rock Pass.

Day 3 I went over Knapsack Col and through the beautiful Titcomb Basin. From there I returned to Island Lake then up to the (unofficial) Poles Creek Pass where I had a lonely night until a moose starting making sounds late at night.

Day 4 I dropped down to the Poles Creek drainage / Wall Lake area where I took the valley back out along the more empty Poles Creek trail.
