CohhCarnage explains how one of his community members lied about a nearly $600,000 donation and ruined his St. Jude Charity stream.

CohhCarnage thought he had raised a million dollars for St Jude Children's Hospital over a series of charity streams...but it turns out he had been scammed by one of his longtime community members over a massive donation that simply never existed.

When Cohh revealed a “lottery winner” had donated roughly 600k to his charity stream, his community was overjoyed. However, signs started popping up shortly after that maybe this donation was not legit. The donation allegedly was wired straight to St Jude, and not through Cohh’s fundraising service. Then St Jude informed Cohh they had not received the money, which the donor blamed on a bank error.

This led to Cohh trying to sort it out personally between the donor and St Jude, at which point the donor revealed it had been a lie all along. The money never existed, and he never intended to donate it.

Cohh was transparent about the entire process, explaining what had happened to all those involved and all those who donated, and while his donation to St Jude wound up being smaller than he would have liked, Cohh still pledged to fulfill all the goals that were met during the stream.
