Renowned German-born singer Jöran Steinhauer, beloved in Latvia, is set to unveil his groundbreaking initiative "LV81. This ambitious project aims to traverse every Latvian city with a series of special concerts, fostering a heightened sense of community, mutual sincerity, and a celebration of friendship. Spanning several years, the project's goal is to visit all eighty-one cities across Latvia. The core ethos of the project is encapsulated in the phrase "Cities unite, cities sound."

"My aspiration is for the people of Latvia to experience happiness. I firmly believe that fellow individuals play a pivotal role in influencing well-being. Hence, I've devised a means to actively engage and cultivate a profound sense of community and joy at its grassroots - by delivering performances in venues where people congregate," expressed Jöran.

Concerts will primarily occur annually during the "empty period" between January and March, a time characterized by reduced daylight but heightened warmth, where people crave connections more than ever. These events will be held in locales where residents gather - cafes, bars, manors, or parish houses.

"Simultaneously, through this project, we aim to bolster urban cultural spaces as they serve as vital hubs that bring people together," elucidated the musician. Admission to these events will be free, extending a warm invitation to all. This initiative is made possible through the generous support of sponsors and project partners, enabling them to choose which cities and events to endorse.
