Here is our review of an Onyx BathHouse brand bath bomb. This bomb was purchased at an area Wal-Mart for $3.97

This particular bath bomb was their "Beach Bum" scented in
Peach + Coconut + Raspberry

4/10 for Presentation - Nothing too special, but it was at least two-toned with appealing pastel colors.

3/10 for Scent Before Dissolving - Wasn't a very strong overpowering scent. Could only really make out the notes of the Peach scent.

2/10 for Entertainment Value - on the positive side it was a floater and a spinner, but as you can tell from the video, it was slooooooow! Total time to dissolve was well over 15 minutes.

1/10 for Scent After Dissolving - pretty much non existent. Really couldn't smell it at all once it was in the water.

3/10 for Water Conditioning - The water did turn a gorgeous blue color, so that was a plus! But on the down side, there were no carrier oils or water conditioning benefits to speak of. So you'll end up with basically a tub full of colored water. Pretty water though :)

10/10 for Clean up - Drained perfectly and did not leave any residue nor it it require a re-rinse.

Overall impression.... well you get what you pay for I suppose. For under $4 this makes a decent enough addition to a gift basket or gift to a child. But not a good buy if you're looking for a top shelf bathing experience.
