In this session we shared a practical toolkit that we have developed and tested with several country offices, in response to a need they have expressed: How can digital solutions help you design and deliver more impactful circular economy programmes? What digital solutions can help you amplify and scale impact across areas critical to shifting the system towards circularity: policy, infrastructure, material design, behaviors and mindset, or finance?

In this session, Strategic Innovation designer Melly Frederika offered a first-hand walkthrough on how to use the toolkit. Beyond that, the toolkit includes a curated ideas bank, and we had two special guests with cutting-edge examples joining us:

Siddarth Hande, Founder of Kabadiwalla Connect who looks at the informal sector as an infrastructure and is making digitalization relevant for informal waste pickers, scrap shops and informal MRFs.
Gustavo Vinacua, Co-founder of Net Positive Labs, a venture builder for businesses creating innovative solutions and markets in, for example, carbon sequestration, second-hand products and materials through biotechnology.
