Let's Fail is (like Let's Play) a Something Awful invention where you play a game for the first time, and do your best with initial impressions, jokes, etc. It's a fun thing, and it's not the commitment level of Let's Play.

So why not post it there?

I might. Here's the deal: Diabetus, Cherry Doom, and I went to PAX and had fun in the Console Freeplay room where we riffed on Resident Evil 6 and Tomb Raider. It was fun, and I wanted to see if we could do it again with another game. So I took an unused gift card to GameStop, got Bioshock: Infinite and here we are.

I don't own an HD Capture Device, and ... honestly, I don't want to just put crap in his thread, and after some discussion, we're not sure this is at all appropriate for Retsupurae. So I'm putting it here to see some initial reaction.

Why not the Sandcastle?

Because that's for testing out LPs, and we never intended to do the whole game. (If I did, I'd get the HD device, and probably play through the game at least once first.)

...So what the hell is this?

It's a video we made that you might find entertaining. If you think you'd like to see more Let's Fail on Retsupurae, we're happy to hear that opinion as well as the opposite.

Why are you two so down on the X-Box 360?

Because the thing red-ringed on me before recording. Okay, almost. I got E-86 which apparently is a hard drive fault, so we spent a few minutes futzing with that, hence calls to Microsoft and all.

I would like to see more of Bioshock: Infinite

I really don't know that that's appropriate for this channel, and while I've rethought the SA three-month rule from time to time, I don't want to turn into someone who just Let's Plays any game sight unseen. But 30 minute (or so) demos can be pretty cool. I'm usually down on blind LPs, but I've done those two.
