Описание к видео How to Start a Recruiting & Staffing Business in ANY Niche

Let’s talk about niches- now a lot of people get really hung up on this and they think they can only be in one niche - not true at all.

The beauty of the recruiting and staffing industry is that you can staff for one niche, two niches or ten niches, - it doesn’t matter what so ever.

Now of course there are some pros/cons like if you’re working in 10 niches you’re going to source on ten different roles and need ten clients at a time and its kind of a lot but its feasible and you can actually do that.

The number one thing i like to say about niches is to stay close to the money and what that means is to stay as close as possible to the actual flow of money from one niche or another as possible.

If you have a ton of contacts in it and software and you’re getting contracts left and right, stay with that money.

If you have a bunch of contacts for warehouse people stay there while they pay you consistently.

You basically don’t ever want to walk away from a stream of money or a niche that’s paying you.- what you do want to do however is maximize your efficiency in any given one or multiple niches together.

So what does that look like, well if software developers are the hot thing for you and you have 2-3 clients there, and general warehouse worker contracts are coming in for you non stop making you another 100K / year, keep both going.

The other point i want to make is that going solo which most of this audience is either on their way to doing or already doing - it’s important to know that you can enter this business in any niche and be super successful.

Why am I in logistics? Well to be completely honest its because I had a lot of the right time / right place kind of situations and a lot of referrals that kept me in that space, the second reason is of course that it’s paying me so i don’t want to dump my clients and go hunt for something new RANDOMLY. (For now)

However, if you’re 100% new like I was 2.5 years ago, you can begin in home healthcare, sales, finance, executive level placement, I.T, literally anything.

I say this because all processes in recruiting are completely identical, staffing for a forklift driver is just about the same as staffing for a software developer.

Now i know people might say wait wait, they’re wayyy different. Yes- they’re different to a degree, the forklift driver pretty much starts a day after the interview and the software developer usually has multiple weeks of interviewing and possibly some coding tests and things like that.

However- from a recruiting standpoint that’s none of our business, all we do is find a client, then find them candidates, so whether you’re doing that for a sales organization a tech company or a pharmaceutical company, your process is the same, the tools you use are the same, any niche is identical by how you close the deal and search for the candidates,

If you’re worried about a certain area of expertise or you want to get into something that pays well, have no fear, because you can simply do some research. Ie: LEARN. Old school recruiting would say you need to work for a firm for years before getting into something new. New school says, google it, talk to some people and GO ALL IN.

I just want you to understand that if you’re new, you can start in any niche and be profitable and if your niche is getting old for you, you can pivot and change niches, that’s another beauty of being independent and solo.

Your niche doesn’t define you just like if you were a 9-5 wage slave, that job doesn’t define you, right?
