Mic issue persisted.

I greatly underestimated the Carthaginian shamans. Their corpse-summon is highly damaging. Also, I still cannot be sure if it was better to have the Syracusan ally or to have one more base. We could add more troops easily with just one base, but 2 bases meant more supplies. However, our ally is a high-difficulty AI player and I'm sure it can multitask better than me.

At 11:25.. The must be other units needing healing. So the fact that the priest stood frozen there was quite possibly a bug, Notice how at around

16:20, our ally did not help us with the catapults attacking our gates? That really shows how terrible it can be to depend on a computer ally. We never know what they'll do, and what they're thinking. At least in this game.
