"We are Journalists" is a documentary film by the Iranian director Ahmad Jalali Farahani. The movie will premiere at the CPH DOX festival, 2014.

The documentary film is produced by Danish Doc Production and supported by New Danish Screen/Danish Film Institute. The documentary covers a decade of many Iranian journalists struggle to survive in Iran, under the Ahmedinejad regime. The director of this documentary Ahmad Jalali Farahani, is an exiled Iranian film maker and journalist, persecuted and tortured by the Ahmedinejad regime. The film is based on the personal story of the director during five years. This film lays bare not only Ahmads's personal pain and suffering in his relentless fight for freedom of expression, but also the plight of many Iranian journalists, who lost their livelihoods, when the newspaper they worked for were banned.The documentary is produced in Denmark, where Ahmad and his family now live. Ahmad has worked in Danish Doc Production for two years.
