Welcome to this self-love meditation. Today, we will focus on healing the self through the power of self-love.
Find a comfortable seated position, either on a cushion or a chair. Close your eyes, and take a deep breath in, filling your lungs with air. Hold it for a moment, and then release the breath slowly, feeling your body relax.
As you sit here, bring your attention to your heart center. Imagine a warm, loving light emanating from your heart, spreading to every corner of your body. Feel this light enveloping you in a warm, comforting embrace.
Take another deep breath in, and exhale slowly. With each breath, feel the light in your heart growing stronger and brighter.
Now, repeat the following affirmations silently to yourself:
"I am worthy of love and compassion."
"I am deserving of self-care and self-kindness."
"I choose to love and accept myself just as I am."
Visualize yourself standing in front of a mirror, gazing into your own eyes. Look at yourself with love and kindness, as you would look at a dear friend. See your own unique beauty and value, and feel a deep sense of appreciation for all that you are.
As you continue to gaze at yourself in the mirror, imagine a loving energy radiating from your heart and filling the room. This energy represents the love and compassion you have for yourself, and it grows stronger with each passing moment.
Allow this love to heal any wounds or pains within you. Imagine it soothing any areas of tension or discomfort, and filling you with a sense of calm and peace.
Stay with this feeling of self-love and healing for as long as you like. When you're ready to return to your day, take one more deep breath in, and exhale slowly.
When you feel ready, gently open your eyes and take a moment to notice how you feel. Know that you can return to this feeling of self-love and healing whenever you need it.
