PadMan Promotions: Akshay Kumar Promotes his next social drama with real-life PadMan In Capital!


New Delhi: After Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan accepted Twinkle Khanna's 'PadMan challenge' and posed with a sanitary napkin. 


On Monday, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, director R Balki and real-life PadMan Arunachalam Muruganantham, Twinkle Khanna and Radhika Apte were present in Delhi to promote their upcoming social drama film 'PadMan'.


Team Padman also started the film's promotion vis-a-vis the "PadMan challenge." Arunachalam Muruganantham, who is the subject of PadMan tagged the film's lead actor Akshay and producer Twinkle Khanna in the challenge, who in turn tagged three of their colleagues. Twinkle tagged Aamir, who completed his challenge and further tagged Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Akshay had also tagged "Padmaavat" star Deepika Padukone and cricketer Virat Kohli.


The Bollywood superstar, Addressing the media spoke about how he met the real-life PadMan, Arunachalam Muruganantham, and thanked him for raising awareness and inventing low-cost sanitary pad making machine. PadMan' is comedy-drama film written and directed by R. Balki, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles, which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham. The film is set to release on 9th February 2018.
