In this video, Kerry Rogers, MD, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, comments on the management of double-refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), highlighting the limited therapeutic options for patients who are resistant to both a covalent BTK inhibitor and a BCL2 inhibitor. Dr Rogers notes that pirtobrutinib and CAR T-cell therapy with lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso-cel) are approved in this setting. However, they offer limited benefit in many patients, meaning this patient population represents a significant clinical unmet need. This interview took place at the biennial International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) 2025 in Krakow, Poland.
