Information about Paper Mario:
Paper Mario is an RPG originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64 as a sort of spiritual sequel to Super Mario RPG. Originally planned as a collaboration with RPG OG Square, it was ultimately developed by Intelligent systems because Square was too busy developing a small title by the name of Final Fantasy VII.

The game, which has a fantastic, off-beat sense of humor and a striking, paper-based visual style, launched the long-lasting Paper Mario series. That series continues until today, with the latest entry, Paper Mario: The Origami King, being released in 2020.

Paper Mario has gone through a number of rereleases and is currently available to play via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. If you enjoy this playthrough, I highly recommend that you support the developers by placing it yourself.

The Paper Mario 64 German version, which I play here, was first released for the Nintendo 64 in 2001. The German translation preserves the quirky, humorous feel of the original extremely well, and I had a ton of fun with it. I hope you enjoy it as well!
