This was my first ever race — and it didn’t exactly go smoothly.

Held at Silverstone National Circuit, conditions were made extremely tricky after an oil spill earlier in the day left parts of the track dangerously slippery. For a novice racer with zero prior experience, it made an already nerve-wracking debut even more intense.

There were some very dramatic moments through the corners, plenty of heart-in-mouth situations, and a lot of learning in a short space of time… but we made it to the finish.

This is what starting your racing journey really looks like — not perfect laps, just surviving, learning, and improving.
