On 4 September 2024, Neil Garratt AM questioned the TfL Commissioner Andy Lord about Bus Safety at Victoria Station and on the network. Victoria Station was the location where— 

1—on 10 August 2021, Pedestrian Melissa Burr was killed by Route 507 Go-Ahead bus working under contract to TfL (cf. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/londo...)
2—on 29 January 2024 pedestrian Catherine Finnegan was killed at Victoria Bus Station on 29 January 2024 by a Route 13 RATP Bus operating under contract to TfL (cf. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5y....
3—on 3 May, a woman was critically-injured by a Route 3 Transport UK Bus on contract to TfL. https://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/24....

A 2:39, TfL Commissioner Andy Lord makes a statement that “the overall number of fatalities on the Bus Network has continued to reduce Year-on-Year”. This is untrue. If the Commissioner had bothered to consult the Bus Casualty that TfL has published on its website every year since 2014, he’d know that, under Mayor Khan, deaths from Bus Safety Incidents have increased since 2019.
