Since 2016, Barco has been a leader in sustainable medical apparel with the inception of its top-selling scrub brands: Barco One, and Skechers by Barco. Our design team relies on the RPET process, where the bottles are cleaned, shredded into pellets, and spun into thread woven into polyester. Our Barco One brand incorporates five recycled plastic bottles into the fabric of each garment, and Skechers scrubs incorporate seven recycled plastic bottles per garment. Collectively, we’ve recycled over 40 million plastic bottles since 2016 between our sustainable Barco One and Skechers by Barco scrub brands.
