I make an air duct cleaning brush for a drill powered dryer cleaning kit in this video. This do-it-yourself duct cleaning tool will be made using broom bristles, aluminum tube, a drill powered dryer vent cleaning kit, and a little hot glue. Although it's designed to be used with a drill, it also works okay as a hand operated brush. A brush guide may be used in rectangle ducts to position the brush where it's needed, side to side. I show how I made a simple guide for it during this video. The brush can help clean dirt, dust, hair and debris out of ductwork when used with a HVAC negative air machine which is designed for duct cleaning.
