Have you tried Ssamjang? It's a famous Korean dipping sauce for making ssam(vegetable wraps), usually served in Korean barbecue restaurants!
Ssamjang has tantalizing flavors: nutty, savory, sweet with a hint of spiciness! Made with Korean fermented sauces, Doenjang(Korean soybean paste) & Gochujang(Korean chili paste).

Because ssamjang is way too salty to savor lots, I've added my own tweak here to add CHICKPEAS♥ You'll be amazed by the taste & texture of this dip! So flavorful and creamy!
Not to mention all the nutrients and fibers you will get from the crudite veggies.

Although this is a party dish, you can practice making it during this time at home
Don't worry, it's time to let your party shine with this dish when all this is over!

Crudite Platter with Korean Ssamjang Dip ｜ 쌈장 허머스와 야채 플래터 (yields 2 cups of dip)

[Ingredients]
Veggies(raw/blanched) cut into bite-size pieces
Carrot, celery, cucumber, radish, cherry tomatoes
Broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, asparagus, etc.

-For dip
Doenjang(Korean soybean paste) 3 tbsp
Gochujang(Korean chili paste) ½ tbsp
Agave syrup or honey 1 tbsp
Garlic 1 clove
Cooked chickpea ¾ cup(half of 15-oz. or 400g canned chickpea)
Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Vegan mayonnaise ¼ cup(or 1 tbsp each of tahini, neutral vegetable oil, water, & lemon juice)
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
Toasted sesame seeds 1 tsp

Sliced green onion 2 tbsp
5 pieces of chickpeas for garnish
