Week in the life in Malaysia | Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands & Ipoh 🇲🇾

As a Malaysian, being able to study and work in the UK is a very privileged opportunity, one that I’ll always be grateful for. But 7 years abroad… now that’s a long time. Every year, it’s a step closer to the tipping point of: where is home? Is home the place we grew up in? Is it the place that we spend most of our lives in? Or is it where the heart is?

Finally being able to fly back home after 1.5 years felt surreal; everything felt so distant yet like nothing has changed. In this short vlog (because I spent most of my time being present with the fam instead of filming), I show you snippets into life in Kuala Lumpur and two separte day trips to Genting Highlands and Ipoh.
