Advice | Join a Corporation in EVE Online

This video is the first in a new playlist of videos I intend as recommendations, advice, and best practices for getting ahead in EVE Online. These are the video equivalent of "opinion of the editor" (Op Eds) pieces, and come from my place as someone who spends a lot of time interacting with new players. Whether it's where to start, how to grow, who to join, or where to live, these videos will cover my thoughts on each of these topics.

In this video I talk about how to join a corporation in EVE Online; how to find one, how to decide what's a good fit, and what the intrinsic and intangible benefits are. Your first fit may not be your final home, and choosing for fit and compatibility are as important as activities and incentives. Note: Most corporations in EVE Online require you to be using their services websites and/or their voice communications platform - the benefit to this is being able to connect, collaborate, commiserate, and celebrate with other players in a healthy and meaningful way.
