Bulgur: 2/3 cup (133 g)
Boiling Water: 1 cup (240 ml); for cooking the bulgur
Olive oil: 6 tbsp or as needed
Mushrooms (your choice): 8 oz (227 g); champignon button mushrooms or crimini are good
Onion: 1 large
Balsamic Vinegar: 2 tbsp
Pecan or Walnuts: 3 oz (90 g)
Eggs: 2 whole, beaten
Salt: to taste
Breadcrumbs: 1/2 cup (6-8 tbsp)
Black Pepper: to taste
