MALANA - ROAD TO MALANA VILLAGE - HD

During our ride to Himachal Pradesh, we travelled from Kasol to Malana Village on a Bullet. We rode from Kasol, Parvati Valley via Jari bust stop, and took the right turn to Malana Hydro Plant. The road thereafter is a disaster. It is not for faint hearted..! Malana is solitary village in the Malana Nala, at a height of 2,652 metres (8,701 ft) above sea level, on a side valley of the Parvati Valley to the north-east of Kullu Valley. It is isolated from the rest of the world. The peaks of Chandrakhani and Deotibba shadow the village. It is situated on a remote plateau by the side of the torrential Malana river,Malana has its own lifestyle and social structure and people are strict in following their customs.
