Keiko Yukimura (雪村 螢子)
It is the girl he is in love Yusuke. Keiko in most cases is always tucked on a jam ready to Yusuke. The only person able to control Yusuke is it, for the love you both have for each other to make it happen. Even if it only happens at the end of the Anime when Yusuke asks Keiko to marry (in the manga they merely embrace, leaving the impression that finally be together).


Botan (ぼたん)
Koenma's helper in the Spiritual World. A very cheerful girl with blue hair and slurred very funny. And she goes to the Missions for Yusuke, a direct order from Koema. In all the missions she meets Yusuke to support and getting into trouble.


Kazuma Kuwabara (桑原 和真)
He is a young man of 14 years who claimed to be the bad boy number 1 Sarayashiki school where he studied, but it was nothing compared to Yusuke. It's not the best student in school, but is a great fighter. Driven by an unbridled desire to win Urameshi, always challenging, and strengthened his determination to get Yusuke. Yukina (雪菜)
Is a member of an all-female race of demons known as Ice Apparitions (氷女, kōrime). She's Kuwabara's love interest, and Hiei's sister.


Kurama (蔵馬)
It's a Youkai born into the world of darkness, the Makai. After being severely wounded by a hunter, Kurama entered the body of a child about to be born and given the name Shuichi Minamino, after a while just feeling affection for his mother Shiori Minamino, and decided to continue as her son. In your body as Shuichi is 15 and is extremely quiet, gentle, polite, and a great student that can pass a false idea of their true potential in battle. Attaches great importance to friendship and does everything to help a friend.


Shizuru Kuwabara (桑原 志弦)
is Kazuma Kuwabara's older sister, making several extended appearances throughout the anime.


Yusuke Urameshi (浦飯 幽助)
It is a 14 year old boy studying in school Sarayashiki. Loved to skip classes on the roof of the school and always took the scolding Keiko. Was particularly hated by teachers Iwamoto and Akashi. Earlier in the anime he was very quarrelsome and declared bad character, but then proves to be much better than many thought. Particular, his main weapon is the Law-gun and luck, reveals great power when the manifest atavism mazoku1. It is a descendant of the Youkai with Raizen Kusushi Kuda, his mother's name is Atsuko Urameshi.


Hiei (飛影)
He was a young mysterious killer in Makai, the son of a woman Koorihime or Ice. It has a twin sister named Yukina (ice princess and goddess). Was separated from his mother for bringing fame Child Maldita (Orphan Mischievous). Deployed Jagan (third eye) to search the country of Ice and kill all youkai that lived there. Despite appearing to be tough and not caring about anyone, he has great affection for his sister. His main weapon is a katana (Japanese sword), and his main attacks, Deadly Black Flames (Jao-Ensatsu Rengoku Shou) and Deadly Black Dragon Flames (Ensatsu Kokuryu-ha), his last blow.
