Knight Rider: The Game (2002) PS2 longplay - PCSX2 emulator

(English below) Longplay, playthrough o walkthrough de la campaña completa de Knight Rider: The Game, un juego de conducción basado en la popular serie de los 80, El Coche Fantástico, desarrollado por Davilex Games y lanzado en 2002 en PS2 (y PC). Lo juego en el emulador de PlayStation 2, PCSX2, en donde la emulación es correcta. Intenté hacer funcionar la versión de PC en Windows 10, pero fue imposible. En PS2, por alguna razón que desconozco, no llegó a salir en EEUU (siendo una serie de allí), solo en Europa. Por lo tanto, al ser PAL, el juego va a 25 fps.

El Coche Fantástico fue mi serie favorita de niño, cuando tenía unos 5 o 6 años. Me fascinaba lo del coche que hablaba y podía hacer cosas tan chulas, realmente era un "coche fantástico", como se le llamó aquí en España. Esta y MacGyver, eran series que veía siempre que tenía oportunidad XD

No tenía pensado hacer longplay de este juego, pero dado lo corta que es la campaña, pues aquí está entera. No es un juego muy bueno que digamos, apenas cumple, pero entretiene lo poco que dura. En cualquier caso solo lo recomendaría si sientes nostalgia por la serie, está claro que no tiene sentido jugarlo por otra cosa. El juego tuvo una secuela, la cual tengo curiosidad por ver si lo mejora.

Longplay, playthrough or walkthrough of the full campaign of Knight Rider: The Game, a driving game based on the popular 80's series, Knight Rider, developed by Davilex Games and released in 2002 on PS2 (and PC). I play it on the PlayStation 2 emulator, PCSX2, where the emulation seems to be correct. I tried to run the PC version on Windows 10, but it was impossible. On PS2, for some reason I don't know, it never was released in the US (strange being a series from there), only in Europe. Therefore, being PAL, the game runs at 25 fps.

Knight Rider was my favorite TV series as a kid, when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I was fascinated by the talking car that could do such cool things, it really was a "fantastic car", as the series was called here in Spain. This and MacGyver, were series that I used to watch whenever I had the chance XD

I wasn't planning to make a longplay of this game, but given how short the campaign is, here it is in its entirety. It's not a very good game, it barely fulfills as fun adaptation, but it entertains the short time it lasts. In any case I would only recommend it if you feel nostalgia for the series, it is clear that it makes no sense to play it for anything else. The game had a sequel, which I'm curious to see if it improves anything over the original.
