As 2024 wrapped up, we couldn’t resist creating our own version of Spotify Wrapped—but for whisky lovers! After exploring a lineup of exceptional drams, one bottle unanimously stood out: Dewar's Double Double 27 YO. 🎉

So, what made it Whisky of the Year? This Blended Scotch truly redefines luxury, thanks to the innovative approach of Dewar's Master Blender Stephanie MacLeod. In 2019, she introduced a unique four-step blending process. First, the grain and malt whiskies were aged separately. Then, they are blended in stages before being finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks to bring it all together, creating a whisky that’s rich, complex, and incredibly smooth.

With notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and warm spice, it was a sensory journey that showed blends can be just as captivating as single malts.

At its price point, it was the perfect mix of luxury and accessibility—showing exactly why blends should have a spot in any whisky collection.
