Deep in the heart of Kolar, Karnataka, lies a place where history meets the epic Ramayana. Welcome to Avani, a small village with a massive spiritual footprint. In this video, we explore the stunning Ramalingeshwara Group of Temples, a 10th-century architectural marvel built by the Nolamba Dynasty.

Known as the "Gaya of the South," this temple complex is unique because it houses four main shrines dedicated to the four brothers: Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna. Legend says these Shiva Lingas were installed by the brothers themselves to atone for the sin of fighting Rama’s own sons, Lava and Kusha, right here on this land.
