Dynasty Warriors 8: XL CE - Lu Bu Story Mode 2 - Getaway from Hulao Gate (Ultimate)

Now we come to Hulao Gate. This basically starts where Lu Bu would normally step out of the gate, so basically the battle is going poorly. There's a hypothetical objective to save Hua Xiong who is off fighting Dian Wei near the enemy main camp but you have to rush to save him. Not an easy feat on Ultimate when Dong Zhuo can die pretty damn fast if ignored. Or at least starts to whine immediately.

This stage also introduces Chen Gong properly, wearing a Wei-styled alternate outfit. Lu Bu still continues to be ridiculously strong to play as. Another useful ability for Lu Bu is using the switch attack which increases his attack speed to an absurd speed. There's nothing to stop you from spamming this in a tight situation and just making him a high speed blender of death.
