This item is inspired by Jessie J’s song, Flashlight. We are dedicating this dance item to the people in our lives who have been our ‘flashlights’. The metaphor compares these inspiring people to ‘flashlight’ because they are the ones who play an important role during our dark and confused points in our lives. These people, like a light in a dark place, provide assurance, comfort and guidance to us, especially during the times when we are frightened, confused and worried about what is to come. Through this item, we hope to show our appreciation for these teachers who have been there for us!
