The game aired on Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia with Jim Jackson, Gary Dornhoefer and Steve Coates on commentary.

The rivalry between the Flyers and Senators is alluded to in the intro, playing in the playoffs the prior two seasons, as well as Ottawa's Martin Havlat's antics in the first two meetings between teams in 2003-04.

Mid-season acquistions Alexei Zhamnov (Flyers) and Peter Bondra (Senators were discussed by Gary Dornhoefer, while Steve Coates gives analysis on Kim Johnsson (PHI) and Wade Redden (OTT).
