Poema en forma de canciones, Op. 19 by Joaquín Turina - Anthony León, Tenor

This video was taken from my Master's Recital at the New England Conservatory of Music in Williams Hall. It has been over a year since this concert, but I have never released footage until now! Of everything I sang that night, this was one of my favorites! This cycle is written so well for both the piano and the voice, and it is a great ride. It truly shows off the Spanish-Andalusian sound and culture while being committed to the tradition of art song. I was so honored to be able to perform this with the INCREDIBLE JJ Penna! Enjoy!
