Chase Bliss Generation Loss Mk II | 25 Minute First Look | Signal Path

Описание к видео Chase Bliss Generation Loss Mk II | 25 Minute First Look | Signal Path

There is so much to say about the legacy and scope of the Generation Loss series, but I was so excited to plug in and just start recording that I thought it would be fun to share the first 25 or so minutes of knob turning.

No manual, at points, not entirely sure about what I'm changing in particular, just blissful knob turning exploration.

A few things that struck me about this iteration in the series. The saturation control solves my biggest challenge with the Cooper V2. Control over the tape saturation allows for some sounds to shine through, pristine, while other sounds can serve as a broad-band overdrive, creating big stereo saturation perfect for the end of the chain.

As far as lofi guitar pedals are concerned, the Generation Loss is not without its peers, but the latest version of the Gen Loss is so surpassing in its flexibility, but the customization it offers is quick to dial in, and beautiful at every point in the knob turn. Truly a delight to include in the chain.

In this video I just explore the various modes and filters of the Gen Loss with a bit of help by way some boost and grit from the Benson Amps Preamp, a Chase Bliss Mood loop and a touch of reverb here and there from the Strymon Bigsky Bloom mode. Other than that, it's just a meandering journey through the various sounds and ideas presented by the beautiful box of inspiration that is the Chase Bliss Generation Loss Mk II.
