To see if I could make the smallest bow EVER! Not only a small bow but one that could shoot! I hope you enjoy watching as much as I did making it.

This was a difficult build because of the size. I found that it was much harder to tiller a very small bow than it is to do a normally sized bow, around 60 inches. I learned a lot. It even took me longer to tiller this bow than it does to tiller a larger self-bow. Control is everything when it comes to bow making I find out. At times I would see how the bow was bending then I would sand it back and forth 10 times with 150 grit sandpaper. You would not imagine how much this changed the tiller of this small bow.
I think this bow build made me slow down and pay attention to the details. This as crazy as it sounds will relate to making larger bows. I think this bow actually made me a better boyer because it taught me how critical the smallest stroke of sandpaper can be. Wood is so moldable. Wood, when you put it in to perspective, is such a soft material. I am a better bowyer for this reason!
