Описание к видео Tchimpounga to Tchindzoulou The First Group of Chimpanzees Settling on Their New Island Home

Watch this video series about the Jane Goodall Institute's Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Center (TCRC) in the Republic of Congo. Founded in 1992, TCRC is the largest chimpanzee sanctuary in Africa. Today, TCRC is home to more than 150 chimpanzees, victims of the illegal commercial bushmeat trade.
In this latest video from Tchimpounga, watch as the first group of chimpanzees get settled into their new home on the island of Tchindzoulou in the Kouilou River. On the island, the group finds delicious wild foods and fun places to explore and roam. With care from JGI's TCRC team, the group is settling nicely into their natural environment.
