Bear 217, considered a fall bear, arrives in cam view for the first time this season on the BF cam. His gait is altered due to an injury to his front left leg. He is in view for a few minutes before moving out of view. He is next seen on the lower river (not included in this clip as the view was very limited). 217 comes back into view on the RF cam, fishing as he moves toward the falls area/BF cam. His gait appears slightly improved in this view. Video closes with another RF cam view of 217's movement. The video is longer in length to include his movement for those who like to analyze how he is moving, and compare it to future views. There is no way to know how 217 injured his leg; it did not occur in cam view. He is fishing, eating, and moving around the river. Hopefully he sticks around so we can watch how he improves/adapts. He does put weight on the foot at times, which is good to see. Note: There is no intervention unless there is a manmade issue. Time stamps below, if interested.
