EP 8 Saxon - Strong Arm of the Law (Bass Cover)

Описание к видео EP 8 Saxon - Strong Arm of the Law (Bass Cover)

Number 3 in the "Bedroom Sessions", who doesn't like a bit of Saxon on a cold, miserable December morning! As with my other earlier videos this was filmed in my bedroom in the early summer. I was still getting used to synching audio to video at the time

The title track to Saxon's third album, this song is about one of the band's many encounters with the British police. Their frontman Biff Byford told us the story: "We were stopped by the police on numerous occasions when we had this huge American car, and that's basically what it's about. It's a story about the police stopping us on London Bridge in London and it stuck in my head. So I wrote some lyrics about it when I got the opportunity."

The original bass player on the track is Steve "Dobby" Dawson.

The audio was recorded into a 2012 MacBook Pro running Reason 11 as the DAW. The signal path is Ibanez SR500 - ART DI - PreSonus Audiobox USB Interface.

The original video was filmed using my iPad as the main camera and my Google Pixel 3A XL for the cutaway shots. The result as then edited using iMovie. I've added updated titles and the final edit was created using DaVinici Resolve 16 with additional graphics created using Paint.net
