Power Raking, Land Plane, Stump Grinder, Root Grapple...and The Kitchen Sink!

This customer wanted all the landscaping removed down to bare ground so he could sod his side yard. I removed the ground ivy, hostas, some buried landscape pavers and a few stumps. Once all of that was cleared I ran my MTW Power Rake over the whole area to bust up any remaining surface roots and till the soil. Then using the leveler/land plane I push and drag the soil to create a better slope from the street and away rom his house. This will help with drainage on this side of the house!


Once everything is leveled out nicely I hand rake the small bits of roots, rocks and debris to make a very smooth surface! Nowit's ready for sod. I was impressed by this customer because he said he was going to hire someone to install the sod. I don't provide this service. But when I came back a month or so later he said he installed himself!
