This week, I’m continuing the Grapevine Trellis Bed Build and sharing the process of unloading the wood, digging the holes, spacing the posts, and securing them in the ground with concrete. But like with most farm projects, things didn’t go exactly as planned—we ran out of concrete, and I also forgot the drill bit needed for the beams. So, this project isn’t quite finished yet, but that’s part of the journey!

Farming isn’t just about growing food—it’s about growth in every sense. When I started this farm, I was searching for something deeper. Working with the land has been a source of healing for me, helping me through grief and reminding me that just like plants, we all go through seasons of transformation. My vision is to create a thriving fruit forest farm and plant nursery on 0.27 acres, a place that regenerates itself and provides for future generations.

I know most people love seeing fully established farms, but I want to share what it looks like to build one from the ground up as a first-generation farmer. Thank you for being here and growing with me!
