The sound comes courtesy of an HSS configuration of pick-ups with a standard Fender Humbucker in the bridge position joined by single coil standard Strat pick-ups in the middle and neck positions. These are managed via the ususal 2 x tone and single volume rotary control knobs along with a 5 position blade-type pick-up selector switch.

The Fender FSR Standard Strat HSS has a high mass bridge to enhance the string resonance and note sustain along with a synchronised tremolo unit, the 3-ply scratchplate is in black to match the Silverburst body finish whilst the machine heads are Fender "Ping" Standard Die-Cast enclosed units. All hardware is in Chrome and on the headstock you'll find a 1970's style Fender logo ....
