''Stuttgart. The first convertible from the Mercedes-Maybach brand will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show and will hit the market in spring 2017 - limited to 300 copies at a net price of 300,000 euros. The high-end equipment in the interior is one of the special features. Among other things, unique are nine additional color concepts for the interior, the trim parts - if desired, refined with "flowing lines" - and the craftsmanship of the leather seats with waterfall-like perforations. The drive is provided by the 6.0-liter V12 with an output of 463 kW (630 hp).

A few weeks ago the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 celebrated its European premiere at the Paris Motor Show and gave a glimpse into the future of the luxury brand. Now follows with the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet, a series model that embodies modern luxury with its ultimate open-air exclusivity and presents the design philosophy of sensual clarity: It's hot and cool at the same time. There will be 300 copies of this open four-seater worldwide.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 is based on the open S-Class and has adopted the classic aesthetic proportions from this, among other things, the highlights of which include the dynamic silhouette with the coupé-like soft top and the dropping line of the side wall sloping towards the rear. Exclusive Mercedes-Maybach features are a new front bumper with an upgraded lower part and numerous chrome accents to visibly underscore the special luxury claim. The Maybach emblem is inconspicuously but elegantly presented on the fender. Another special feature on the exterior are the 20-inch Maybach forged wheels in two-tone design. When the doors are opened, the Maybach logo is projected onto the street with the help of the entry lighting.''
