How to replace the idler pulley assembly part # DC93-00634A on a Samsung dryer

Step-by-step instructions on how to replace the idler pulley assembly on a Samsung dryer. The idler pulley keeps tension on the belt. When the idler pulley fails it can cause the dryer to be noisy and squeak or squeal. It can also cause the belt to come off track and the drum to stop turning. The older versions of the idler pulley used a shaft with a bushing. The newer version of the idler pulley has a bearing in place of the bushing. When replacing the idler pulley, the whole assembly with the bracket and shaft must be replaced at the same time due to the design change. The idler pulley shown in this video is Part # DC93-00634A (PD00032419) but the instructions in the video apply to many different part numbers and models of Samsung dryers.
