Riding in a vintage train with a taste of luxury back in the day sitting on a well contoured couch and enjoying the panoramic view of the beautiful countryside scenery and farming landscape would be an unique experience of a lifetime. It doesn't supersede the modern luxury trains that we have today, but the memory that it brings back is the one that lingers. Thanks to those people who have the ingenuity to restore those old trains and keep them up and running to this day. No wonder it draws a lot of attention and passion not only to the "young once" but also to the "young ones". So we tried riding this vintage train in Waterloo, Ontario and it served its purpose well. The beautiful fall and countryside sceneries and farming landscapes of the Mennonites northwest of Toronto are not to be missed and forgotten. It was also an opportunity to learn more about the Mennonites heritage and community. The experience of going to St. Jacobs Farmers' Market allows you to revisit your younger days of seeing and tasting fresh produce from the market to your table.
