Engineer working as System Analysts at the Office of the Historian of Havana City. He is leading a group of enthusiastic young people in Cuba who are looking forward to “put Cuba on the map”, which means to provide a mechanism to develop the experience of the Free Wiki World Map in the Caribbean island. Even though in Cuba access to the internet and digital technologies is limited, Jorge Luis thinks it is possible to inspire people to contribute to the project of creating an editable and free version of the map of the world.

Engineer in Automatics working as System Analysts at the Office of the Historian of Havana City. Since 2008, he collaborates with the Open SteetMap project to develop a free and editable map of the world.
