Hooked rugs are an Anglo-American tradition that began in the early 19th century. During the 1940’s --Nancy Dupont Reynolds Cooch made a huge hooked rug that may be the only one made of 100% nylon.

In this month’s History Matters, produced in conjunction with the Delaware Historical Society, Anne Hoffman and Karl Malgiero head to Hagley Museum to investigate that one of a kind rug in the museum’s “Unraveling Stories” Exhibit.
