Honnamana Kere (Honnama Lake) is a lake and holy place in Doddamalthe near the village of Sulimalthe, 6 km away from Somwarpet town of Coorg in the state of Karnataka, India. It is the biggest lake in Kodagu,and once a year, during the Gowri festival, a special pooja is conducted and a 'Bagina' which consists of the belongings of goddess Honamma is presented to the lake.ಹೊನ್ನಮ್ಮನ ಕೆರೆ.ಕೊಡಗು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸೋಮವಾರಪೇಟೆಯಿಂದ ೬ ಕಿ.ಮಿ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡಮಲ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಹಾಗು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕೆರೆ. ಇದು ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೆರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಗೌರಿ ಹಬ್ಬದಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮದೇವತೆಯಾದ ಹೊನ್ನಮನ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
