The estimated pricing of the HTC VIVE XR Elite is 1.79 million won (about $1,400), which is $100 less than the listing cost of rival Meta Quest Pro.

The next mixed reality headset's primary features were revealed today by Brad Lynch, who also displayed the headset's renderings. The HTC VIVE XR Elite actually has a battery life of up to two hours. At the back of the head is where the battery is. The headset is linked to it via a USB interface. Hand tracking is also supported by this VR headset.
Since it is a stand-alone device, you can use this headset without a computer or smartphone. Users can link it to a gaming PC, on the other hand. Once finished, it will be able to broadcast PC VR games via cable or WiFi, just like the Pico and Quest headsets.

There will be two 1920 x 1920 resolution 120Hz refresh rate screens. Plus, the headset will come with four black and white tracking cameras and a color camera. The latter can achieve a color passthrough of mixed reality, while the depth sensor is for better color see-through. The depth sensor will allow for easier room scanning. But its main rival, Meta is working on automatic room scanning even without an extra sensor. Generally, color penetration allows users to read text on the display or smartphone without taking off the headset. In this sense, the HTC product will compete with the Quest Pro, which did the same a few months ago.

Last but not least, HTC previously stated that the new headset would be portable, strong, and have a wider dynamic range.
