Vivo X200 Series: In-House Blueprint Sensor, Chip, Algorithm!

Vivo has just unveiled groundbreaking advancements in smartphone imaging technology at its annual imaging festival in Qinghai. The next-generation Vivo X200 series will be the first to feature the new in-house developed Blueprint image sensor. This sensor utilizes Vivo's self-developed VCS 3.0 technology and is manufactured on a 22nm process. Notably, the Blueprint sensor is the industry's first to support "True-TCG HDR" technology, promising improved HDR previews and video recording.

In addition to the sensor, Vivo has introduced the Blueprint Algorithm Matrix, designed to optimize telephoto performance. This algorithm, with over 1 billion parameters, is the largest visual generation model ever implemented in a Vivo smartphone. But that's not all! Vivo also teased the upcoming "Blueprint Imaging Chip," set for release next year. This chip aims to refine AI portrait algorithms, enhancing low-light and backlight portrait photography.

These cutting-edge imaging technologies will be incorporated into Vivo's upcoming flagship smartphones, likely part of the Vivo X200 series. Vivo also announced that its popular humanistic camera mode, currently exclusive to the X100 Ultra, will soon be available on other phones. The Vivo X100 Pro will receive this feature by the end of August, followed by the standard X100 in early September. The X90 Pro+ is set to get the update by the end of October, with other X90 series models, including the X90, X90s, and X90 Pro, expected to receive it in early November.
